The first stop was the Ripley's Aquarium. Such a neat place! Abby was a little apprehensive of the sharks and fish but once she realized they were in a 'cage' and couldn't get her, she was ok with it!
Roaring like a shark :)
The overhead tank
Abby was just a bit afraid!
This is their attempt at 'fish faces'
I love Abby's look here...Like 'Seriously Dad'.
After the aquarium, we took a little time to walk around Barefoot Landing - an outdoor shopping area. It's located around a lake/retention pond kinda thing and has some interesting carp and fish in the waters that you can feed.
The fish are literally jumping on top of each other to get the food.
Of course what's a visit to Myrtle Beach without actually visiting the beach! This was Ada's first official time going...the last time she was there, she slept the whole time! Abby was a little apprehensive about the ocean, I don't know why, after seeing the fish and sharks at the aquarium that day she should have been overly excited to see where they live!
Ada was really into the water but Abby was content just sitting back in the sand.
Of course the Mommy wasn't going to come all the way to the beach and not have Abby at least touch the ocean!
