Just a sweet post of pictures

These girls love riding the little John Deere around the yard! The end of July it was sweltering hot! We had temps near 115 degrees so going outside was only for short little moments.

Modeling the matching watermelon dresses that Mommy made for them!
Isn't this just the sweetest thing ever! Abby was ready her "Big Sister" book to Ada!! We've read it so much that she just about has it memorized!
 Shhhhhhh Mom!

Sleeping beauty and makeup madness!

How cute is this! It's so hard being 17 months old!!

And after the cuteness is this little hot mess...Abby had gotten into my makeup while getting ready for the day. She insisted that she NEEDED IT! LOL!

A weekend of beach fun!

Every summer, Edward Jones has their regional meeting and invites the advisor's families to join them! It's a weekend of fun activities for the spouses and kids and morning meetings for the advisors! For the last couple years it's been held at Myrtle Beach at a resort right on the beach! Last year was pretty easy with Ada mostly sleeping and still laying around, but this year she was on the move! Both girls really enjoyed the beach and playing in the sand...we would get up every morning and the first thing Abby would say was that she wanted to go to the beach!

First Haircut

Two weeks ago I took Abby in to get her haircut. This was the first time she actually sat in the chair by herself and wore the black cape. The one other time I've taken her, she's been a bit timid and sat on my lap. But now she has declared herself a big girl and decided that she could do it herself! Of course when Ada saw her sitting so perfectly, she had to prove that she could do it also!!

It's party time!

Even though we celebrated Abby's birthday with a trip to the NC mountains and Thomas the Train, Mommy still wanted to do something fun with all the little friends in Hartsville! There were two other sweet, kids with their 3rd birthdays within days of Abby's so the 3 mom's got together and planned one big bash! We had a pool party for the Mommies and the kiddies!! It was so much fun and everyone had such a great time!
The 3 birthday kids!! Caleb, Abby and Ethan

The kids all enjoyed the pool and then pizza! It was so cute to see them all sitting on their towels eating!
The sweet birthday girl - she gets so embarrassed when people sing to her!
Happy Birthday to my sweet and vibrant 3 year old! I'm so proud of you and the joy you bring!! You are a wild, crazy and perfectly sweet(most of the time) girl and I adore you!!!

A weekend for celebrating!

The July 4th weekend was a busy one around the Thomas house! We had the fireworks and festivities on the Friday before the 4th and then the next morning we packed up and left for the long drive over to Dahlonega, GA for cousin Jessica's wedding!

The girls were asked to be flower girls for Cousin Jessy's wedding - they were little princess fairies! Abby was so excited to wear the outfit with wings(which mommy made :) and walk down the aisle. She took her job very seriously! Ada on the other hand was nothing but trouble and a rebel. She wanted nothing to do with the wedding and instead just run wild around the park!
Abby tried her best to keep Ada in line and walking down the path but little Ada fought it!
Ada and the gorgeous bride, Jessica
She was a little apprehensive about the ring bearer and couldn't understand why he wouldn't hold her hand when they walked back down the aisle!
And here's what happened when we tried to get Ada to do anything, she would pitch a fit!
Abby getting ready to be a mini-princess! She was so serious and excited!!
 Adjusting the crown
She insisted that she needed makeup for the party!

We are so proud of Abigail! She stood up at the front of the wedding for the entire hour long ceremony...outside!!! She took her job so seriously and was the perfect little flower girl!

At the reception, each table had to sing for their dinner and Joe was the one chosen from our table for the honor! Good job sweetie!!
Cousins!
