WHEW!

Whew! We have been non-stop the last couple weeks! And we're still going...but I have a few minutes where the laundry can wait and the dishes will still be there, so I'm going to blog! *And for those of you who think I neglect my child so that I can keep up with my computer blogs/facebook/emails, she's asleep :) For a good 2 hours at least! I have an awesome napper! So that's where I get my time to do things that I normally couldn't get done with her whining and pulling on my leg :)

Here are some pics from the last couple weeks -

Contemplating a swim in the new pool she got from Grandma!

Ok she's decided to go in!

But she doesn't want to sit, just stand

Her daddy's determined that she will like football!

Happy Birthday Joe!

This year Joe's birthday and Father's day were both right in the middle of planning for Abigail's first birthday and then also my 10 year high school reunion in Florida. So they both kinda got brushed by quickly. I had a feeling that was going to happen so I planned a surprise party for Joe - just for Joe - with his close friends here in Hartsville. He was surprised. No, he was mortified. And surprised :) It was at his all-time favorite place, Los Tres - a mexican restaurant where the owners adore him and he them. I seriously think he eats there more than he eats at home!
Irma had a special cake just for Joe

After he blew out the candles, she started to clean it up...

But then you can see the glimmer, the hesitation. Her Mexican heritage and traditions were coming out in full force...

And WHAM!!! She just couldn't stop herself!

She got him good!

Even his glasses were stuck in the cake!

Don't look at me like that...it wasn't my idea!

Joe - you're an amazing and wonderful husband and father. I am so blessed to have a husband who wakes up each morning to support his family! Thank you for making each day an adventure! I love you!!

Thanks to the 'family' at Los Tres for letting us take over the restaurant for an evening!

Florida and back - a two day adventure!

We went to Florida for a weekend for Chrissie's high school reunion! It was a whirlwind of a trip - we left on Friday morning and got back on Sunday night - but we managed to do almost everything we wanted in that time period!

See in the lower right corner how we got Abby to smile...a puppy!

Cousin Hayden was so smiley

Cousin Vance shared his cereal with Abby - but made sure to keep all the marshmellows for himself!

Randomness...

Abigail loves getting mail! She gets so excited when she sees her name on a package! This one was from Chris, Erica and Noah Cleghorn (Noah's her Virginia boyfriend :)

So thrilled about the picture of Noah for her dresser!

She's dancing! I don't know where she got her moves from! *dad*

Loving on her Baby Tad

Ms. Joan and Ms. Cheryl from Ron and Lynn's church in Florida got her this adorable little recliner! She loves to sit in it and read! We just have to teach her how to get out of it! *Wardrobe courtesy of Meghan Muniak :)

Watching Baby Einstein. She's not a huge fan of tv but will watch it for a couple minutes. Poor thing was exhausted from running all day and decided to lay down and take a break!

Bike Club!

For Abigail's birthday we bought her a bike trailer! She really does love it...though you wouldn't know it by the stone look in these pictures! We went out last night with the Facendas and Kyler just loved it!! Kept saying "Wheeeeee" over and over!

Joe made sure to let the neighbors know that Bike Club was coming...he kept honking his horn!!!

Justin was man enough to pull the kids...he's so strong :)

A long bike ride means snacks after!

Before the ride Kyler was talking about riding with Abby...so cute :) (press play)

I tried to get video of Kyler saying "Wheee" but of course he stopped when he saw the camera! (Press play)
